Amanda Murray is an experienced General Manager who has worked in the UK and US on a number of successful critically acclaimed productions. Originally trained as a Stage Manager, Amanda moved into Company Management and Production Coordination before becoming Assistant General Manager on Michael Redington’s productions of Sylvia and Our Song.

Most recently Amanda was General Manager for Bjorn Ulvaeus’ Mamma Mia! The Party, presented in a purpose built 33,000sq ft venue within London’s O2 Arena. Originally presented in Sweden in 2016, Amanda was responsible for delivering all aspects of the creative team’s vision for this completely immersive theatrical dining experience. Amanda was involved in all aspects of development and production including venue selection, planning permission, venue construction, venue and production fit out and opening.  Amanda has continued to oversee the production and venue since it opened in September 2019 and will oversee its reopening at The 02 in October 2021 before its international roll out.

Between 2013 – 2017 Amanda relocated to New York City where she worked for Alecia Parker, BJ Holt and multi award-winning producers Barry & Fran Weissler at National Artists Management Company (NAMCO).  During this time, she worked on their Broadway and US touring productions of Waitress, Finding Neverland, Pippin and Chicago.
